Sixty high-school music students will represent the Northshore School District in the All Northwest and All State Honor ensembles to be held at the combined National Association for Music Education Northwest Division and Washington Music Educators conference Feb. 17-20 in Bellevue. These students auditioned against students from five other states for these coveted positions.

In addition, the Bothell High chamber orchestra is one of six middle-school, high-school, college and/or community ensembles chosen to perform at the northwest conference.

“To have this number students earn these positions is a mark of excellence of the music instruction happening in our district,” said Northshore music coordinator Ted Christensen.
