The public is invited to visit the Northshore Fire Department, 7220 N.E. 181st St., on June 17 for the annual open house and pancake breakfast.

The family-friendly event will run from 9 a.m. to noon and will include a free pancake breakfast (9-11 a.m.), a health and safety fair, live firefighter demonstrations, activities for kids and an opportunity to tour the fire engine, aid car and rescue truck.
