The city of Kenmore is encouraging residents to meet their local police officers and neighbors during National Night Out Against Crime on Aug. 1.
The Kenmore Police Department is hosting a free barbecue at Kenmore City Hall from 6-8:30 p.m.
Police will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers as well as sharing tips on home and personal safety. There will be other activities on site.
National Night Out Against Crime is a nationwide campaign aimed at involving communities in crime and drug prevention awareness.
