Kenmore gallery hosts Youth Art Exhibit opening Friday

The gallery at Kenmore City Hall will feature a Youth Art Exhibit with the works of local artists age 5-18 on Friday.

The gallery at Kenmore City Hall will feature a Youth Art Exhibit with the works of local artists age 5-18 on Friday.

The exhibit runs through Jan. 31, 2014. The public is invited to the opening reception 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday. Awards will be presented at 7 p.m., followed by a free art class offered by Art Archive. The class is limited to 40 students and is suitable for all ages. Light refreshments will be served.

Congratulations to the 24 artists who were juried into the show following a tough competition of over 60 artworks submitted. Our featured artists include: Jon Baker, Melanie Breteau, Sedona Bryce, Samantha Carey, Debbie Clauson, Trevor Dunnigan, Zhanpei Fang, Amelia Fenne, Kina Fernandes, Jessica Forcucci, Natalie Forcucci, Cassi Freeman, Tristan Gallagher, Shaylen Haller, Daria Herbig, Sonya Leaf, Shawn Lee, Tobey Lu, Elena Martinez, Maisie Patterson, Samay Sayala, Aidan Toomre, KellynToomre, and Jacqueline Wong.
