Join Kenmore Mayor David Baker in planting 100 evergreen trees from 9-11 a.m on Nov. 12 in Kenmore.

Wallace Swamp Creek Park, located at 19851 73rd Ave NE, lost many trees during a windstorm in August of 2015, and planting these trees will help restore the park’s tree canopy and enhance the natural habitat.

Organizers ask that participants bring a shovel and a pair of gloves. The City has a limited supply of gloves and shovels. Make sure to wear closed toe shoes.

Invite family, friends, and neighbors to join other volunteers in making an impact.
