The city of Bothell has three open positions on the Shorelines Board.
Interested locals can apply online now through June 30 on the city’s website. The Bothell City Council will consider applications and make appointments at its July 17 meeting.
Once appointed, members will meet at least monthly starting in the fall. Meetings are typically held on the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m., or as determined by the board. Board members must live in the city of Bothell.
The Shorelines board is being re-established this year to advise the city council on proposed amendments to the Bothell Shorelines Management Program. The SMP governs development next to the Sammamish River and North Creek. An update to the SMP must be completed by the end of June 2019.
