Unhappy with Kenmore Council

My unhappines with the Kenmore City Council started when our late mayor appeared on Dave Ross. The city was trying to close the bowling alley because they had a card room. The mayor said we did not need the taxes the card room was paying upwards of $800,000 a year. A church, not in Kenmore, was leading the cry. They contributed to the campaigns of some council members and wanted the card room closed even though we voted to keep it open. Now that we are finishing the new city hall, we are exposing ourselves to the additional cost of operation and maintenance. Since those councilmembers feel we don’t need the taxes from the card room, prove it by not taxing the citizens of Kenmore! As many as 200 people worked at the bowling alley — I am not proud that they lost their jobs!
