What a momentous shift in the First Legislative District, Position 2 race! Starting from a deficit of nearly 400 votes a week ago, Luis Moscoso is now ahead by more than 700 votes (at the Reporter’s press time).

More importantly, Luis is out of automatic recount range. What could account for such a dramatic change? Perhaps it was the genuine grassroots campaign and get-out-the-vote efforts of Team Moscoso.

We are left to wonder when or if Heidi Munson will graciously concede her race for state legislature.

At any rate, I believe Luis Moscoso will bring the same determination and discipline he has shown in the campaign to his work in Olympia.
