As the city of Bothell celebrated its ninth annual RiverFest on Sunday, Aug. 30, we want to take this opportunity to thank all community members involved in making the event a true success. Specifically, the city is especially grateful to Brooks Biddle Chevrolet for its contribution of a fantastic car show.
Just a short two weeks before the event date, staff had not received confirmation from car clubs and others that would fulfill the car-show element. At that point, we were ready to forego a car show and simply not have that within RiverFest this year. However, with one call, Brooks Biddle Chevrolet in Bothell graciously stepped in and agreed to not only put on the car show, it also solicited and secured 10 businesses to contribute award trophies to the cause, motivating car owners to join the show and compete for a RiverFest trophy.
It is this type of community spirit and dedication that no budget could buy. Brooks Biddle Chevrolet is a long-standing business contributor to Bothell and we commend its leadership in this community. Thank you, Brooks Biddle Chevrolet, for enabling the city to include a wonderful car show to RiverFest 2009.
