The University of Washington, Bothell introduced a new slate of eight business leaders who will be serving as executives-in-residence for 2011.

They are:
• Linda Bernardi – Founder and CEO, StraTerra Partners
• Bob Bernstein – Director of engineering, Spectralux Corporation
• Joe Brouillette – CEO, The Grayport Group
• Brooks Gelker – Retired, vice president, General Mills, Inc.
• Jim Hebert – President and senior research director, Hebert Research
• Gene Kahn – Founder, Cascadian Farm; sr. adviser, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
• Zak Parpia – CEO, Himalaya Homes
• Sesh Velamoor – Trustee and director of programs, Foundation For The Future

UW-Bothell Business Program Director Sandeep Krishnamurthy explains, “the executives-in-residence program selects business leaders who are passionate about sharing their experiences with undergraduate and MBA students and the academic community at large. These talented executives provide business students practical advice, mentorship and an insider’s understanding of the nuances and complexities of corporate life.”

The executives-in-residence were introduced Feb. 18 at a forum held at UW-Bothell’s Eastside Leadership Center, located in Bellevue.
