To help business owners better understand the benefits of filing their taxes online, the Washington State Department of Revenue (Revenue) will host a free live webinar for new and small business owners on Jan. 8.
Nearly a quarter million Washington businesses have already discovered the benefits of using Revenue’s electronic (e-file) method for paying taxes. Whether you’re a small business or a CPA who handles multiple accounts, e-file offers several advantages over traditional paper filing, including 24/7 access to your tax return and payment system and automatic error checking, to name a few.
To register, send an e-mail to NBOWebinar@dor.wa.gov with the following: name, company name, phone number and e-mail address.
The deadline to register is Monday, Jan. 5.
Participants will learn how to file electronically using e-file tool; how to sign up for electronic due date reminders and sales tax changes; and learn about the four payment options including EFT debit, EFT credit, E-check, and credit card. The Revenue website at www.dor.wa.gov/Workshops offers a complete schedule of in-person business workshops held around the state and short video versions of the workshops.
