The Bothell High School girls basketball team recovered from its championship loss to Inglemoor on Thursday for a 62-58 overtime victory against Woodinville on Saturday at Redmond High School. The game, which was loser-out, gives the Cougars a berth in the regional tournament this coming week.
The teams played an extremely close game throughout the contest, as Woodinville held just a one-point lead at halftime. Bothell gained a slim two-point lead entering the fourth quarter but Woodinville managed to tie the game by the end of regulation.
The Cougars secured the victory with a slim 9-5 advantage during the overtime period.
Taya Corosdale continues to play some of her best basketball of the season, leading all scorers for the game with 25 points. Bothell teammate Keyonna Jones finished with 16 points.
