Snohomish County Sheriff seeks man who allegedly impersonates police

Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are looking for 24-year-old Antonio L. Coddute-Farrison, who has a history of impersonating police and is believed to be in possession of various law enforcement gear, including weapons, a Taser, handcuffs and ballistic vests.

Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are looking for 24-year-old Antonio L. Coddute-Farrison, who has a history of impersonating police and is believed to be in possession of various law enforcement gear, including weapons, a Taser, handcuffs and ballistic vests.

The Sheriff’s Office has probable cause to arrest Coddute-Farrison for criminal impersonation of a police officer and illegal possession of firearms, which is in violation of a court order. Police are concerned that Coddute-Farrison may pose a risk to the public, given his history of posing as a member of law enforcement.

Coddute-Farrison attended a gun show at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe on Feb. 15. When asked by security if he was armed, he allegedly confirmed that he was but that he was an undercover detective with Washington State Patrol and displayed what appeared to be an authentic badge. Coddute-Farrison was driving a retired Sheriff’s Office Ford Expedition which is equipped with lights and siren.

Coddute-Farrison is a 6-foot tall black male and weighs approximately 180 pounds.

Anyone who may have information about Coddute-Farrison or his whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office Anonymous Tip Line at 425-388-3845. Additionally, detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have been stopped by Coddute-Farrsion while he was posing as a police officer.
