Maureen Polcuch, Northshore School District driver instructor, was named Washington State Pupil Transportation (WAPT) Transportation Person of 2011-12. She was also selected as a Washington state driver instructor this year and trained 16 new driver instructors across the state. She volunteers many hours to improve the school bus transportation industry by organizing workshops, judging events and as a chairperson for regional and state school bus safety competitions.
