The Inglemoor High School girls and boys track and field teams place in top five during two separate invitationals.
Girls place fourth
The girls team placed fourth overall with 36 points during the Lake Washington Invitational.
Dahrian Mills placed second in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 14.60 seconds and came back to win the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 44.05.
Anna Richards placed third in the 100-meter dash in a personal best time of 12.55. She also placed third in the triple jump with a personal best of 37 feet, 8.25 inches, which leads 4A KingCo.
The girls 3,200-meter relay team of Rebecca Crawford, Katie Diekema, Bailey Fjelstul and Rebecca Ledsham broke the school record to place third in a time of 9:41.59.
Boys place fifth
The boys team finished fifth overall during the Shoreline Invitational with 34 points.
Michael Rhoads won the 400-meter run in a school record and state leading time of 48.23 seconds. He narrowly beat the defending state champion Ryan Croson of Bothell, who ran a personal best of 48.28.
Michael Milcarek placed second in the shot put with a throw of 50 feet, 10.5 inches, while teammate Ben Walchenbach placed third in the triple jump in a personal best of 42 feet, 4.75 inches. He now leads all 4A KingCo jumpers.
Nick Laccinole placed fourth in the 1,600-meters with a personal best time of 4:16.97 and is now ranked No. 1 in 4A KingCo.
The medley relay team of Andy Seckinger, Ryan Larson, Sam Perng and Judd Bobin placed eight, while the 1,600-meter relay team of Seckinger, Bobin, Larson and Rhoads finished fifth in a season-best time of 3:26.11.
