Senators Rosemary McAuliffe and Eric Oemig will participate in an Education Reform and Listening Tour from 7-8:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at Northshore Junior High, 12101 N.E. 160th St., Bothell.

The event will feature conversation regarding the Basic Education Reform Bill and the vision to implement the changes to the education system. Learn how Washington state is working toward a world-class education for students:

• Early learning/all-day kindergarten

• CORE 24/funding a six-period day

• Effective teachers and compensation

• Accountability and data systems

• Fully funding education
