The Inglemoor High School girls basketball team will play for the 4A state title tomorrow after defeating Moses Lake, 65-60, at the Tacoma Dome Friday night.

Inglemoor got off to a fast start against the Chiefs, building a 17-11 lead during the first quarter.

The Vikings maintained that six-point advantage into halftime but lost momentum during the third quarter, as Moses Lake tied the game at 39-39 heading into the final eight minutes of play.

However, Inglemoor showed why it has been ranked No. 2 in the state most of the season, outscoring the Chiefs, 26-21, during a fourth quarter with very little defense.

Both Alex Hagen and Deja Strother finished the contest for Inglemoor with double-doubles. Hagen led the team in scoring with 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, while Strother scored 18 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. Mackenzie Gardner also scored 10 points for the Vikings.

Inglemoor will face the winner of Gonzaga Prep and Todd Beamer at 7 p.m. on Saturday in the Tacoma Dome.
