Theft from vehicle
Items valued at $1,566 were stolen from a car parked in the lot of an apartment complex in the 9300 block of Northeast 146th Circle. The victim told police it was unknown how the thieves entered the car, making off with an iPod and several steak knives and knife bags.

Assault
A man, 61, was charged with fourth-degree assault after allegedly attacking a female acquaintance, 86, at a residence on Northeast 185 Street. Police say the man used a cane to strike the woman in the head and leg, believing she was stealing from him.

Residential burglary
According to police, the victim came home to the 23300 block of Meridian Avenue South and found the front door to his home open and damaged. Thieves had stolen a watch valued at $550.
Residential burglary
The suspects apparently entered a home in the 23400 block of First Avenue West through an unsecured laundry room pet door. They left with cash totaling $200.

Residential burglary
Reports said the victim runs a remodeling business from his home in the 1800 block of 80th Avenue Northeast. Persons unknown broke into a storage shed and stole a number of tools, the value of which was not readily available in police reports.

Burglary
Police say the owner of Alexander’s Stone on Northeast 175th Street arrived at his business to find someone had flattened the tires on three of his fleet vehicles. Someone also had smashed a taillight on a personal car. Police reports classified the incident as a commercial burglary.

Someone spray-painted a vulgar, two-word “tag” on the Wagon Wheel Motel on Northeast Bothell Way.

Shoplifting
A woman reportedly left the Shell Station on Northeast Bothell Way with a bottle of wine in her purse.

Residential burglary
An iPod and a phone disappeared from a residential garage in the 6500 block of Northeast 188th Street. Police said there was no sign of forced entry.
