Two men with stab wounds involved in assault in Bothell transported to Harborview

Two men stabbed each other early Wednesday morning during an altercation at a Bothell residence and both were taken to the hospital for treatment, according to police.

Two men stabbed each other early Wednesday morning during an altercation at a Bothell residence and both were taken to the hospital for treatment, according to police.

One of the men came into Bothell Fire Station No. 42, located in the 10800 block of Beardslee Boulevard in the King County portion of Bothell, seeking treatment for his stab wound. Firefighters called police to investigate the incident at approximately 7:05 a.m. The 54-year-old man was transported to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.

“At this time there is no information as to the severity of the subject’s injuries,” said Bothell police Sgt. Ken Seuberlich. “Through investigation officers made contact with an additional two subjects at a residence.”

The two individuals were located in the 10800 Block of Beardslee Boulevard.

Officers then located a 36-year-old man hiding in the residence with a non-life threatening stab wound. The man was also transported to Harborview for treatment.

“Detectives are investigating the assault,” said Seuberlich. “Preliminary investigation indicates that the two male subjects were involved in an altercation with each other.”
