The King County Sheriff is searching for level 3 sex offender Demarcus B. Linwood.

He is a suspected of sexual assaults in the Seattle and Shoreline areas. He had been in custody since Feb. 8.

King County Sheriff’s Office Special Assault Detectives are attempting to discover if there may be additional victims or individuals that may possess relevant information regarding Linwood.

Public transit appeared to be his primary form of transportation. His modus operandi is to meet women who appear “transient” looking or otherwise vulnerable near bus stops or parks and making contact with these women which ultimately leads to a sexual assault.

Linwood is currently charged in King County Superior Court with Rape 3 based upon an incident investigated by the King County Sheriff’s Office. Seattle Police are also currently investigating him for a separate sexual assault.
