Molbak’s Holiday Kick-off Weekend will take place Nov. 9-11, which benefits the Northshore Schools Foundation (NSF), with special kid-friendly events planned and staff by Northshore students.
“The Holiday kick off at Molbak’s is one of the greatest ways to get into the holiday spirit. The store is beautiful and the children activities make it easy for the whole family to enjoy it,“ said Carmin Dalziel, Executive Director of the Northshore Schools Foundation. “I am amazed at the talent and creativity displayed by the Northshore students. The gingerbread village and the table displays are perfect inspiration for the holiday season.”
A portion of the sales for the three days will be donated to the NSF. During the past three years the Kick-Off Weekend has generated more than $13,300 for the Foundation. The events feature a display of gingerbread houses created by students in the NSD Culinary Arts Program, holiday table top designs by NSD’s Event Management and Planning Class, and free student-led activities from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Be sure to stop in and see Molbak’s 14-foot tall poinsettia tree, a family tradition for many.
