The Bothell Arts Council is seeking submissions for its Bothell LiveArts Festival juried art show in the categories of paintings, prints, drawings and miniatures.

The Bothell Arts Council is seeking submissions for its Bothell LiveArts Festival juried art show in the categories of paintings, prints, drawings and miniatures.

The free weekend celebration will take place June 23-24 at the combined Bothell Cascadia Community College/University of Washington, Bothell campus

in Mobius Hall. Deadline for entries is April 20, and artists can compete for award/prize money totaling more than $2,300. To enter or to view the prospectus online, go to: http://liveartsbothell.org.

The festival will feature a juried art show, juried artisan booths, juried quilt show, live entertainment, food court, wine garden and limited-release festival poster.

A June 22 preview party will showcase the art and artists, including a local art scholarship and public-art procurement fund-raising.
