A fugitive from Maryland was arrested Wednesday in Bothell after a manhunt in Clearview the day before.
Jerry Stagg, 27, was wanted in a local felony harassment case, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. He also has warrants for his arrest for robbery and assault in Maryland. He was arrested about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.
On Tuesday afternoon, deputies went to a Clearview-area house where Stagg was staying, but he got away, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. The search on Tuesday involved heavy police activity and a helicopter.
Nearby Glacier Peak High School wasn’t affected as students are on spring break.
