A Bothell woman, 28, has been sentenced to just over seven years in prison in connection with an Everett traffic accident that cost the lives of two victims, 24 and 19.

A wife and mother of an 8-year-old son, court documents show Camille Spink pled guilty in November to two counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of vehicular assault.

She was sentenced Jan. 3 in Snohomish County Superior Court.

Everett Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Robert Goetz described the accident as follows: Spink and a passenger were northbound in the 4000 block of Broadway Avenue in Everett about 9:30 p.m. Feb. 26.

At one point, that stretch of Broadway requires what he described as almost a 90-degree turn in order to stay in the proper lane. Spink allegedly didn’t make the turn properly and ended up heading north in the southbound lane of Broadway. Goetz said just a few blocks shy of a cross street, Spink’s Nissan Xterra collided head-on with a two-door Nissan SX.

The driver of the Nissan SX, Sheena Blair, 24, died following the accident. A passenger in the backseat, Martin Ramirez, 19, died at the scene. Two others in the car Blair was driving were severely injured.

Spink was unharmed following the accident. According to Goetz, her passenger was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Reports say Spink’s blood-alcohol content was double the legal limit. She allegedly admitted to having drunk three glasses of wine and having smoked marijuana earlier in the day.
