If you are the victim of a burglary in the Shoreline, north King County or south Snohomish County area, perhaps the Sheriff’s Office has recovered your stolen property.
Perhaps.
On Nov. 5, sheriff’s detectives served a search warrant on a storage locker in Monroe. According to a press release from sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. John Urquhart, the locker was associated with a group of “notorious serial burglars.”
Urquhart added that hundreds of items were recovered, all believed to be stolen. Detectives found firearms, jewelry, guitars, electronics, tools, golf clubs — lots of golf clubs — and miscellaneous other property of every description.
Three of the guns recovered already have been identified as stolen. In addition, several Shoreline victims also identified their property. One very unique item recovered was a cigar humidor holding hundreds of cigars. The humidor is made to look like a replica of the White House.
Anyone who thinks they may have items now in police custody, can visit a photo Web site to view items.
The password is: “Shoreline,” which allows you to see six pages of photographs of probably hundreds of items.
Anyone who believes they recognize their stolen property should call Shoreline detectives at (206) 801-2710.
