Kenmore Sheriff’s Blotter: Bicycle helmets, theatening emails and larceny

A summary of calls made to police in the city of Kenmore.

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of all calls to the King County Sheriff’s Office that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The King County Sheriff’s Office blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kenmore.

Between Oct. 12 and Oct. 19, six thefts (including identity theft and fraud) occurred along with one DUI traffic accident, two additional DUIs, three burglaries, three incidents of driving with suspended licenses and one bicycle helmet violation, again.

 

Oct. 12

A manager at the 6100 Northeast Bothell Way Jack in the Box is suspected of embezzlement.

 

Oct. 13

A 34-year-old man is arrested for failing to transfer a vehicle title.

Entering through an open garage door, an unknown bandit swipes tools in the 14500 block of 78th Place Northeast.

Copper wire is stolen from a home under construction in the 18500 block of 57th Avenue Northeast.

Criminal mastermind breaks into house, scoring a laptop and jewelry. Leaves cell phone at the scene.

One woman was cited with driving while license revoked after being pulled over for failing to transfer her vehicle title.

An abandoned vehicle hangs out for nine days in the 6700 block of Northeast 185th Street.

 

Oct. 14

According to police reports: “A displeased Sean receives a second bicycle helmet ticket.”

A woman was arrested on reckless and intoxicated driving charges after blowing through a 35 mph zone at 73 mph.

 

Oct. 15

Someone stole scratch tickets from the 6850 Northeast Bothell Way Safeway.

 

Oct. 16

A man was walking around the 6200 block of Northeast 182nd Street in his underwear and appeared confused. He was taken to a hospital.

Ex boyfriend reminds everyone why he’s now single after sending threatening emails.

One citation for driving with a suspended license is issued.

 

Oct. 17

While driving with a suspended license, a 24-year-old man is arrested.

A previously trespassed man was caught at the same store stealing food from the 6850 Northeast Bothell Way Safeway.

High-end guitars were stolen from a house in the 18500 block of 61st Avenue Northeast.

One woman was arrested on DUI charges.

 

Oct. 18

One 22-year-old man was arrested on DUI charges after hitting the center median on Northeast Bothell way in the 7500 block.

A purse was stolen out of a car after suspects broke the window while it was parked at Inglewood Golf Course.

 

Oct. 19

One suspect forgot to buckle up, gets pulled over for not having a front license plate, gets arrested for misdemeanor warrant.

Unknown suspect takes several items from the 6850 Northeast Bothell Way Safeway.
