Sushi Chinoise Asian Grill and Sushi Bar will open at Bearsdlsee Crossing on March 28.

First announced last May, the nationally known chef Thoa Nguyen chose Bothell as the location for her newest restaurant based on Beardslee Crossing’s natural lighting, design and location, providing residents with her signature pan-Asian cuisine without a trip to Seattle, a press release said.

Nguyen owns two other pan-Asian restaurants in the Seattle area, and seven in total, including Chinoise Cafe-Sushi Bar and Asian Grill in Issaquah Highlands, and Wabi Sabi Sush Bar and Restaurant in Seattle’s Columbia City district.

Nguyen has competed on the Food Network show Beat Bobby Flay where she bet the food network star with a version of the Korean dish Bibimbap.
