Bothell-based HUB Northwest acquires The Unity Group

Bothell-based HUB Northwest announced that it has acquired the assets of The Unity Group, Inc. (Unity), a full-service insurance brokerage firm based in Bellingham.

Bothell-based HUB Northwest announced that it has acquired the assets of The Unity Group, Inc. (Unity), a full-service insurance brokerage firm based in Bellingham. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. HUB Northwest is an insurance brokerage firm.

In connection with this acquisition, Barry Hanson, currently president of The Unity Group, will be joining HUB Northwest as an executive vice president, leading Bellingham operations and becoming a member of the HUB Northwest executive team.  Hanson will report to Andy Prill, HUB Northwest president and chief executive officer.

Founded in 1929, Unity is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Washington.
