Kenmore Scout Troop 582 is providing Christmas tree and wreath pick-up and recycling from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 9 at Cooley Smiles Dental, located at 18031 67th Ave NE in Kenmore.

The scouts will also be picking up trees in local neighborhoods on Jan. 9. Trees need to be curbside by 9 a.m. The tree recycling event is one of the main fundraisers for the scouts.

Scouts distributed donation envelopes on Dec. 19 throughout Kenmore, which can be placed on a tree or wreath. For those who did not receive an  envelope can write “Troop 582” on the front of their own envelope. Please place the tax deductible donation inside.

The suggested donation is $15 for a tree and $5 for a wreath, which all go directly into funding Troop 582 activities.

Checks can be made out to BSA Troop 582.

The troop cannot accept trees with tinsel or flocking.
