The Bothell High School girls soccer team beat Newport 3-1 on Tuesday in Bellevue.

Bothell got on the board first as Kelsie Morgan took a pass from Lindsay Hosler and put it into the opposition’s goal during the 26th minute.

Newport tied the game during the 61st minute but Bothell came right back with a score during the 68th minute. Mackenzie Bean was assisted by teammate Meghan Tveit on the goal.

Bean put the game away with a goal during the 75th minute.

Bothell improves its record to 4-8-3 overall with the win.
