Emerald Ballet Theatre (EBT) will present a mixed program of 12 Dancing Princesses and Act II of Giselle for its eighth annual spring show.

Performances will be held at 2 p.m. on June 6-7 at the Northshore Performing Arts Center (NPAC) in Bothell.

The show features Sienna Clark of Bothel and Daniel Chernyavskiy and Natan Lubow of Kenmore.

Twelve Dancing Princesses is an original ballet based on the Brothers Grimm tale about princesses who mysteriously disappear at night in order to dance. EBT has added new elements to the story, such as evil and good queens. Twelve Dancing Princesses is only an hour long and has narration throughout, making the performance very accessible for families.

The princesses range in age from 10-15. The students have been rehearsing their pas de trois for weeks.

“I’m so happy that our students are gaining this valuable experience of working together from such a young age,” said EBT’s Artistic Director Viktoria Titova,

Tickets are $25 for adults (19-64), $21.50 for seniors (65 and older) and $15 for students up to 17 years old, and can be purchased at the studio or by calling 425-883-3405. Tickets can also be bought online at emeraldballet.org and prices include a small PayPal fee.

NPAC features free parking and easy freeway access.
