EvergreenHealth hospital in Kirkland will host an infant safety and injury prevention class at 7 p.m. on Sept. 23. The class will cover everything new parents need to know about keeping a baby safe at home and at play. Pediatricians agree unintentional injuries are the greatest risk to babies.

During the two hour class, learn the basics of preventing “accidents” based on the latest best-practice recommendations. Topics include basic child development, safe sleep, medication safety, fire/burn safety, home safety – baby proofing and some car seat basics.
