The Bothell High School girls basketball team defeated Coeur d’Alene, 53-50, in overtime during a holiday tournament game on Tuesday in Idaho.
The Cougars jumped out to a 16-10 first-quarter lead but Coeur d’Alene picked away at the advantage, eventually tying the game by the beginning of the fourth quarter.
Bothell won the game with a 6-3 overtime advantage.
Taya Corosdale led the Cougars with 15 points and teammates Brenda Akoto (14) and Keyonna Jones (10) also finished in double figures in scoring.
Bothell will play Sandpoint High School today at 3:15 p.m. in the Championship game.
