May 14, 1934 – November 9, 2022

Jim was born on May 14, 1934 to Jack and Hazel Donovan in Yakima Washington. The family moved to Prosser Washington and started the Barn Restaurant and Tavern when Jim was in junior high with his sister Nancy and brother Dave. After graduation from Prosser High School, he went into the Air Force. In 1958 He moved to Seattle and married Martha Van Sice. They have 3 children Bob, Scott and Mary.

He spent over 48 years building the family-owned business Kenmore Camera with his children and grandchildren in Kenmore. He loved the business and worked till the day he had a stroke on August 23 2022. He died on November 9, 2022. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother. Jim is survived by his wife Martha, daughter Mary Panichi, sons Bob with Liz Ricciardi, Scott with Trina and his two grandchildren Tyler and Mike. He left behind many loving nephews and nieces.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday November 29, 2022 between 5:00pm and 8:00pm at: Kenmore Community Club, 7304 NE 175th St, Kenmore, WA 98028
