Cascadia College has been selected as the host of this year’s Social Venture Partners (SVP) “Fast Pitch” contest, held Tuesday, Sept. 15, and Sunday, Sept. 20, for the student quarterfinalists.

Quarterfinalists will pitch their ideas to community judges and peers, but only 20 will advance to the next level.

SVP’s Fast Pitch competition is sponsors include the Women’s Funding Alliance, Microsoft and the Microsoft Alumni Foundation, and Outerwall.

Winner’s of last year’s Fast Pitch event took home a portion of $300,000 in grants and investments.

Applications were due June 2nd, however interested individuals can still head to Mobius Hall in September to catch a bit of the action.
