King County and Snohomish County elections released preliminary election results around 8:15 p.m., Nov. 5. Of 1,805,290 combined registered voters in the counties, 23.54 percent returned their ballots in King County and 17.24 percent returned their ballots in Snohomish County.
Two Northshore School District school board positions were up for grabs, for districts 2 and 3. Both positions ran unopposed.
For District 2, Bob Swain garnered 98.65 percent (12,162) of the vote. About 12,329 people voted for this position.
For District 3, David Cogan received 98.68 percent (12,070) of the vote, according to preliminary results.
About 12,231 votes were counted for this position.
Ballots were due to King County by 8 p.m. Tuesday. Final results will become certified Nov. 26.
