The next general Bothell-Kenmore Chamber of Commerce meeting is set for Oct. 24 at the Northshore Senior Center Auditorium, 10201 E. Riverside Dr in Bothell.
Doors open at 7:15 a.m. and the meeting will run from 7:30-9 a.m. The event is free to attend and no RSVP is required. Light breakfast will be served.
The event is geared toward professionals and business owners looking to expand their network of local connections, meet new members and hear about their businesses and discover collaboration opportunities.
Jonathan Wilson, author of “Future Leader: Rebooting Leadership to Win the Millennial and Tech Future,” will be speaking at the event. According to a press release, his presentation seeks to help attendees understand the force of generational churn, the force of rapid technological advancement, how advancing technology is changing the character and composition of jobs and how to approach and evaluate advancing technology for organizations in the years to come.
According to the release, Wilson writes, speaks, and consults with public and private organizations about the future of leadership. He has a master’s degree in public administration from Seattle University and professional coach training from the University of Miami. He has held leadership and management positions in both the public and private sectors for many years.
