Fraud: At 3:09 p.m. in the 21000 block of 16th Drive Southeast, a man followed the directions of an email scam and bought $1,500 worth of Google Play cards. The man thought it was his brother asking him to purchase the cards.
School graffiti: At 7:07 p.m. in the 300 block of 224th Street Southwest, someone marked a wall at Frank Love Elementary school with red paint. The wall had the words “f—-,” “b——” and “n——.” The number 12 was also painted on the wall near the play area.
Fingerprints: At 10:11 p.m. in the 10400 block of Northeast 195th Street, a victim reported that someone stole a pocket knife from his car. It was parked in his driveway. There is no suspect information but there was a CD. It may have the suspect’s fingerprints.
July 24
Stolen engine: At 6:45 a.m. in the 14600 block of 106th Avenue Northeast, someone stole an outboard “kicker” motor. The boat motor was last seen intact and attached to the boat. There was no evidence.
Car prowl: At 9:18 a.m. in the 18300 block of 125th Avenue Northeast, a victim’s Volkswagen Passat was prowled in the Retreat at Bothell parking lot. A child booster seat was stolen.
July 25
Theft: At 9:50 a.m. in the 10000 block of Northeast 195th Street, someone dug up and stole 10 flowering plants from the garden at St. Brendan Catholic Church. They were taken from the front of the administrative office overnight.
Trespassing: At 7:51 p.m. in the 18600 block of Bothell Way Northeast, police were dispatched to McMenamins. A man was allegedly yelling at customers and walking around the business. The man was refusing the leave.
