Brandishing: At 8:56 a.m. in the 18000 block of Bothell Way Northeast, police were dispatched to a report of brandishing in the SR 522 area of the 76 Station. A subject reported a person in a white Chevy pointing a gun at him. When authorities tracked down the car, the two subjects inside denied having a weapon and admitted that there was a verbal altercation with the other driver. Officers conducted a search and did not locate any weapons.
Theft: At 2:39 p.m. in the 18600 block of Bothell Way Northeast, a woman reported that she had gone to McMenamins and had left her belongings in her locker. The subject did not secure her items with a lock and when she returned to her locker, her phone was missing. She requested the report in order to use Apple’s “find my phone” feature. There are no suspects and due to delay in reporting, no clues exist.
April 24
Car stolen: At 6:03 a.m. in the 600 block of 220th Street Southwest, police were dispatched after a reported car theft. The blue Honda Civic was parked on the street across from the victim’s house. His pickup truck was parked on the street in front of his home. Sometime overnight his pickup was prowled and items were stolen — a skill saw, three business checks and a key chain that had keys to the Honda.
April 25
YMCA prowl: At 2 p.m. in the 11800 block of Northeast 195th Street, a window of a car located at the YMCA was broken out. The victim stated that YMCA may have video footage of the suspect. There was another car prowl in the parking lot of Kaiser Permanente, which is located right next to the YMCA. Video footage caught suspects on camera.
Vehicle theft: At 9:10 a.m. in the 24000 block of Bothell-Everett Highway, a Safeway employee had their keys taken from inside the store and their vehicle stolen. The victim tracked the vehicle to an address in Seattle, via an after-market GPS system he installed. Seattle police located the car, which had been damaged, and arrested a suspect. The victim’s gun that was inside the car was not recovered.
Egging: At 8:39 a.m. at Pop Keeney Way and Northeast 185th Street, officers responded to reports of unknown suspects throwing multiple eggs on the victim’s car and smeared tomatoes on the running boards of the car parked on Pop Keeney Way.
