Bothell traveled to Broomfield, Colorado, and beat host Legacy, 40-13, on Friday. In other action, North Creek beat Mount Rainier, 34-6, and Cedar Park Christian defeated Chimacum, 47-7, this weekend.
Bothell’s touchdowns came at the hands and feet of Christian Galvan (1-yard run), Kainoa China (1-yard run), Mason Locknane (67-yard pass from quarterback Erik Bainter), Riley Morrison (14-yard pass from Bainter), Ryan Metz (5-yard run) and Branden Bird (40-yard run).
Bainter was 17-for-24 for 232 yards, Morrison caught eight passes for 91 yards and Locknane hauled in three passes for 79 yards. Metz had nine carries for 57 yards and Galvan had 15 carries for 53 yards. China added an interception.
Bothell had 398 total offensive yards to Legacy’s 339.
For North Creek, Shea Hoogerwerf ran the ball 10 times for 95 yards and tallied touchdown runs of 16 and 28 yards; Jaden Landagora had a 2-yard TD and had five carries for 41 yards; quarterback Jack Charlton was 11-for-22 for 142 yards and two TDs to Nathan Craig (6 yards) and Rami Hakin (52 yards). North Creek also scored on a safety.
Cedar Park’s Zach Wilkins scored on runs of 83, 45 and 3 yards and racked up 215 yards on 17 carries; Johnny Petrus added a 12-yard TD run; and Landon Wise had three interceptions. The Eagles totaled 373 offensive yards.
