Nine Northshore School District alumni, former staff and volunteers will be recognized at the 2018 Wall of Honor ceremony.

The Wall of Honor recognizes the outstanding achievements of Northshore alumni, staff and volunteers who have made a significant contribution to the district, community, state, nation or world.

This year’s event will be held at Pop Keeney Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 16 at 6 p.m. Pop Keeney Stadium is located at 18603 Bothell Way N.E., Bothell, WA 98011-1995.

Dwight Funai, BHS 1965, Fundraiser for Cancer Lifeline and Multiple Sclerosis of Washington

Laurel Petersen James, BHS 1953, Advocate for Women Runners/Athletes, Sponsored Marathon, Olympic Trials

Irene Millikan, BHS 1963, Ukraine Orphans Supporter, Formed Ministry to Guide Orphans/Families

Stephen Mladineo, BHS 1961, Naval Officer and Nuclear Security Expert, War College Professor

Sheron Mohan, NSD 31 yrs., Teacher, Principal, Supervised NWU Student Teachers, Ski School Director

Florence Smith Sperling, NSD 20 yrs., First Female Initiator of Elementary Libraries, Reading Centers in NSD
