Tuesday, Sept. 19
Backpack: An employee working at the front desk of Country Inn & Suites in the 193000 block of North Creek Parkway reported that a guest’s backpack had been stolen from the breakfast area of the hotel. The backpack was later recovered in one of the the rooms, where four people had been staying. These people were trespassed from the property.
Wednesday, Sept. 20
Dent: Someone dented the hood of a 2014 Chevy Cruze parked in the 10100 block of Main St. The damage is estimated at $1,000.
Golf spree: An unknown person in the 16700 block of 96th Ave. NE took a golf cart from the storage area of Wayne’s Golf Course without permission. The unknown person also kicked open the door to the maintenance shed but did not remove anything.
Thursday, Sept. 21
Stolen car: A person reported their 2016 Ford Focus rental care was stolen from the Extended Stay hotel in the 22100 block of 17th Ave. SE. The keys were likely in the vehicle.
Stray bullet: Police were called to a residence in the 700 block of 216th St. SW for a malicious mischief. The caller reported a bullet shattering the kitchen window. The bullet had only shattered the outer pane of the glass and the bluet was still in the window. Upon further investigation, the reporting officer ruled that it was likely a stray bullet from the Kenmore gun range.
DUI: Police stopped a driver in the 17100 block of State Route 522 for speeding around 11 p.m. The driver was going 65 mph in a 35 mph zone. When the officer approached the driver, he immediately noticed the odor of alcohol. After conducting a field sobriety test, the officer arrested the driver for driving under the influence.
Friday, Sept. 22
Tablet: Someone is thought to have taken a Samsung tablet owned by the City of Bothell while crews were working in the 3400 block of 240th St. SE. The tablet had been in the city’s work vehicle.
Saturday, Sept. 23
Theft: An unknown person stole $10 from the center console of a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 19200 block of Hollyhills Drive NE.
Underwear: An unknown person entered a residence in the 100 block of 234th Place SE and stole female underwear.
Sunday, Sept. 24
Courtesy ride: The store manager of a Safeway in the 24000 block of Bothell-Everett Highway called police to report an intoxicated person. The store manager was concerned the intoxicated person would drive home. The officer who responded did not believe this person was safe to drive and gave her a courtesy ride to her mother’s home just outside city limits.
Monday, Sept. 25
Siblings: Police responded to an incident in the 18600 block of 103rd Ave. NE where a sister had punched her brother in the face.
