Crow, a pop-up boutique, will be at Kenmore’s Hangar building one weekend each month through the rest of the year.
The little store will feature items from a dozen local artists and small businesses from around the area, including Kenmore, Bothell, Edmonds and Portland, Oregon.
“I’ve got a lot of local artists who are super excited to be a part of this,” owner Jen Lawson said.
Lawson plans on rotating the artists she will show at the store each month.
Lawson will be set up at the community building Oct. 14-15, Nov. 18-19 and Dec. 9-10. She plans on continuing the store in 2018.
The store first made its appearance in the Hangar, located in Kenmore’s downtown, in September.
Lawson has been in touch with the City of Kenmore since January. Since then she’s been patiently waiting for the new Hangar building to open, which it did in late-August.
“It’s such a great area,” she said.
Lawson, a 12-year Kenmore resident, is a jewelry maker by trade.
Her store features jewelry, accessories and home decor. Prices don’t exceed $100.
“My price-points are really reasonable,” Lawson said.
She said she is always looking for new artists. Those interested can message her on her business’ Facebook page, kenmore.crow.
The Hangar building is located in Town Square at 6728 NE 181st St. It’s open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
