Malicious Mischief: An unknown suspect sabotaged two of the victims vehicles on the 9100 block of Northeast 179th Place. The cars no longer work property and the victim believes that the suspect is their cousin because of a personal issue between the two. The Victim did not provide the cousin’s name because he said he did not want any more trouble at his house.
Thursday, July 13
Fraud: A Washington Federal employee reported that an ATM machine located at Washington Federal’s Bothell location had been tampered with. The skimming device was placed on the ATM on June 25 and removed on June 26. Washington Federal provided pictures and video of the suspect and estimate $1,500 was stolen.
Wednesday, July 12
Theft: An unknown suspect broke into the victim’s shed on the 22000 block of 6th Drive Southeast. The suspect stole a string trimmer, lawn mower and power washer.
Prowling: An unknown suspect stole $3140 worth of tools and other items from unlocked vehicles on the 700 block of 226th St. Southeast.
Fraud/Criminal Impersonation: A cafe located on the 22100 block of 17th Ave. Southeast reported that they had received a call from the suspect who was claiming to be from Puget Sound Energy (PSE) and said that if the cafe did not immediately pay their bill of about $1,000, their power would be shut off. The owner paid the fake bill and it was subsequently discovered that PSE did not provide service for the building.
Prowling: An unknown suspect stole several Apple products from a vehicle parked at the 19100 block of 112th Ave. Northeast.
