The Inglemoor High softball team suffered its first loss of the young season, falling 5-4 to the Jackson Timberwolves Wednesday at Jackson High School.
The Vikings (2-1, 1-0 in KingCo) led 4-0 midway through the fourth inning when the Timberwolves (4-0) began their rally. Jackson scored all five of its runs over the course of the next three innings while holding Inglemoor scoreless the final half of the contest.
Rachel Brown had two hits and an RBI for the Vikings and O’Nalisa Hall also batted in a run.
Inglemoor will host Eastlake (1-1, 0-1) at 6 p.m. Thursday at Inglemoor High School.
