Distubance ends in trespass of two men at McMenamins Anderson School | Bothell police blotter

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical roundup of calls to the Bothell Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Bothell Police blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Bothell.

Between Jan. 17-23 there were five traffic collisions, five vehicle prowls, two vehicle thefts, 10 thefts, one incident involving illegal drugs, six domestic incidents, one assault, two burglaries, one robbery, one hit-and-run and 10 warrants served.

Jan. 17

Domestic: 1:58 p.m., 19100 block of 112th Ave. NE; A 24-year-old man punched his 21-year-old boyfriend, a Seattle man, in the face before leaving his apartment. While police were speaking to the victim, the suspect returned to the apartment and was arrested for 4th-degree domestic violence assault.

Jan. 18

Disturbance: 1:33 a.m., 18600 block of Bothell Way NE; A 25-year-old Camano Island man and a 26-year-old Stanwood man were contacted at McMenamins Anderson School after causing a disturbance and attempting to fight with a bartender. One of the men entered the bar carrying a full wine bottle which he had taken from another bar on the property. Both men were intoxicated and the bartender refused to serve the man with the wine bottle. The men were both trespassed, but no arrests were made.

Burglary: 7:48 a.m., 22100 block of 17th Ave. SE; An unknown suspect or suspects entered the a room belonging to a 24-year-old Marysville woman at the Extended Stay Deluxe in Bothell on Jan. 16. The woman reported several things missing after returning home several days later, including an Xbox One and accessories, a hoverboard, a laptop, Jordan-brand shoes, two pellet guns and a backpack containing $600 Rayban sunglasses among other items.

Jan. 19

DUI: 10:25 p.m., 3000 block of Maltby Road; A 54-year-old man was arrested after crashing his Toyota Highlander into a ditch and hitting a utility pole. The man failed field tests, and later provided breath samples of .142 and .146, after being arrested for DUI.

Jan. 22

Fraud: 12:39 p.m., 100 block of 218th Place SW; A 56-year-old woman came to the Bothell Police Department to report a theft of $1,500 cash from her credit account. The woman said she hadn’t lost her card, and it was suspected her card information had been compromised.

Drugs: 1:19 p.m., 3200 block of 206th Place SE; A 46-year-old man reported finding syringes, foil, a glass pipe and a digital scale in his home, left behind by squatters who had live in the house before he purchased it. Police took the items and entered them into evidence for destruction.
