Frank Leaycraft Weed

June 8, 1923 – January 15, 2011

Frank was born in Nyack, New York and graduated from NYU with a degree in Marketing. He served in WWII and on return began selling printing supplies. His career took him to Denver for 12 years and finally to Bothell in 1971. Besides spending time with his family, Frank had many interests: jazz drumming; fly fishing; camping; soccer coaching and refereeing; and volunteering at the Northshore Senior Center and the Kiwanis Club of Northshore. He was a longtime member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Bothell. He is preceded in death by his son, Andrew Weed and wife, Jane M. Weed and survived by his daughter Pamela Belcher, son-in-law Edward Belcher, and grandson Kenneth Belcher. We will miss him greatly. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on January 23, at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 19540 104th Ave NE, Bothell. In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances to the church’s Building Fund.
