Colonel Frank J. DeMartini, Jr.

Frank J. DeMartini, 74, of Fallbrook, CA, passed away on April 19, 2012 at his home.Frank was born July 14, 1937 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He graduated from Seton Hall University with a degree in Communication Arts in June 1959. Frank married his childhood sweetheart Phyllis in June 1959 and raised their family in Bothell, WA. He served 35 distinguished years in the U.S. Army, retiring with the rank of Colonel. Following his military service, Frank and Phyllis retired to a beautiful hilltop orchard in Fallbrook, CA. Frank is survived by his wife, Phyllis, sons Frank III and Kevin, daughters Brenda and Michele, and 9 grandchildren.A funeral mass was held on April 23 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. He will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia at a later date. Berry-Bell and Hall Fallbrook Mortuary is handling arrangements.
