Sam Drechsel has torn through defenses this year for the Cedar Park Christian volleyball team, leading the Eagles to the Class 1A state tournament.

On Nov. 9, Drechsel signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at the University of Maryland. Drechsel is among the top-ranked players nationally, and was recently named an Under Armour First-Team All-American.

Senior Michael Attalah signed a letter of intent to play for Oregon State University. The Beavers are a nationally-known baseball program, having won national championships in 2013 and 2014.

Chloe Biscup, a teammate of Drechsel’s, signed to play volleyball for Western Washington University.
