The Greenroads Foundation announced this week that Phase One of the city of Bothell’s $25 million Multiway Boulevard project has earned a Greenroads Bronze Rating. The two-phase project provides access and mobility, walkability, parking and new space for local business in the heart of downtown Bothell. The project also ties the new development west of Bothell Way Northeast with the historic downtown, serving as a key element of Bothell’s downtown redevelopment plan.

“The city of Bothell had the vision, while the consultant, Perteet, Inc. and the contractor, Johansen Excavating, Inc., had the expertise and determination to deliver this beautiful, sustainable project,” said Dr. Jeralee Anderson, Executive Director of Greenroads.

“The Greenroads recognition affirms the City of Bothell’s investment in the Multiway Boulevard Project as one that will support the City’s goals for mobility, sustainability and economic development,” said Erin Leonhart, Public Works Director for the City of Bothell. “We’re looking forward to proceeding with the final phase of the project in 2016, with the recently-announced $6.75 million grant from the Transportation Improvement Board.”
